GOLF
Golfers of all levels are welcome! It's a great opportunity to play different courses in the area and make new friendships along the way. We play a four person scramble on the first Sunday of the month. Tee times usually start around 2-3pm. Sign up is on a first come first serve basis at the Sports Kiosk in the lobby between services. We've placed a $35.00 cap on green fees on courses we'll play to make it reasonable. So depending on the golf course the average cost will be $25 - $35 a player and that includes range balls.
**Please note that in the winter months of December-February we take a hiatus and resume back in March.
SOFTBALL
Do you enjoy playing softball? If so, come play for the ARKrushers! We are wrapping up the 2009 season. The Ark fielded both Men's & Co-Ed division teams that competed in Conroe Parks & Recreation this year. We are looking for both men and women, 17 & older; no childcare provided. We look forward to kicking off another season in March.
BASKETBALL
If you enjoy the game of basketball, we need you! We have been playing recreational basketball two Saturdays mornings out of the month and plan on doing this through the winter. Anyone 18 and up is welcome to join us... No child care services are provided, so parent's are responsible for their children.
VOLLEYBALL
We're looking for some people who are interested in playing volleyball. You do not need to be a pro! We have been playing recreational volleyball two Saturday evenings out of the month and plan on doing this through the winter. Anyone 16 and up is welcome to join us. No child care services are provided, so parent's are responsible for their children.
SCUBA DIVING
If you like to go scuba diving and would like to join other members of The Ark who share your passion, please contact us. Group outings will be scheduled based upon interest.
